A seven days Vocational training for mothers of persons with disability was successfully organized by students of Community Development as a part of Student Research under Disability Research Center, School of Arts, Kathmandu University. The program was conducted as part of the project ‘CBR programs for the mothers of children with disabilities’. The skill development training was conducted from 21 September 2015 to 28 September 2015. The main objectives of the program were to provide a means for the mothers to become self independent and to empower the mothers by providing them an opportunity to develop a new livelihood skill.
